Latest Happenings!

Aloha! I know, I know. I'm not the best blogger in the world... : ) . However, I've been busy!

The track team I'm on, has had a few meets so far. Three, I believe, and we only won one of them. The other two, we came in second to ZMS. ZMS is so good, it's sickening! Their athletes are like Superman's offspring! Our next meet is tomorrow and it's a home meet. I'm doing 60m hurdles, 400m dash, long jump, and some other event that I don't remember. I've never done long jump until today at practice! I'm not the best but I'm definately not the worst! One of the coaches said I could easily get 10 feet! I'm not sure that's good or not, but ten feet is better than no feet! (Unless they're all left feet, then you might have a problem! : P )

Next topic.... band!! My school's band has the awesome opportunity to be in our local Memorial Day Parade!! How cool is that?! We're playing a Civil War song, I think, called Chester. We have to memorize it for Thursday and I forgot my clarinet at school! Uh-oh.... We had marching lessons after school today and it's all about posture and attention.

My brother, Captain Hook, and his girlfriend are expecting their first baby next week! They are having a boy and haven't decided on a name yet. My older sister, Evil Bunny, is also expecting her first, but in mid-June. Her fiance, Fuzzy, and her are having a baby boy, too, and decided on a name of Baby Yellow. I can't wait!

My last topic for today is.... (cue dum-da-dum music).....CROCHETING!! I ditched the sock mostly because I lost it and I didn't have any time for it. ( I found it the next day... I know, I know). I've made a few more squares for my afghan and tested a pattern for a member of Crochetville. The pattern was for a little bunny named Molly. She came out really cute, only problem is, I don't know what to do for the nose!

I also have made a few dishcloths, two diamond shaped ones, two star shaped ones, and a heart shaped one for my grandmother for Mother's Day.

Have you ever visited http://www.meez.com ? It is such a fun website! You create an avatar or whatever you want it to be, and there's so much clothes, you'll never want to wear the same thing twice! If you want, you can create a free account and save your Meez to Photobucket or whatever. It's for guys and girls.

Well, that's all this post can hold! Until next post, au revoir!
